The Ploode is a jewel of home-style cuisine and raises it to the traditional level, as was previously cooked with heart and devotion. I am glad that something like this still exists today and I recommend it from the bottom of my heart.

Owner-run, family village inn to feel good. Schnitzel, steak and chops are great. The prices are cheap. Tip: There is also delicious freshly tapped Jever Pils here, which is rarely found in Central Hesse.

Food is very meaty. The hunter sauce was tasteless and consisted largely of canned mushrooms. The prices are transparent, side dishes cost extra, but the dishes are otherwise a bit cheaper.

Here the term "village pub" in a positive sense is the epitome. Cozy and in good company you can spend nice evenings here. Thanks to the open nature of all guests, you will feel comfortable here quickly and can either stay alone or quickly get connected.

Here for the second time here for the last time. The first time a steak received what was not edible, after two bites given back, on the bill fully cashed. After two years of new start .... Eat ok .... The rest uncool, unfriendly, complicated .... Before I go back here, I find two hundred other options ....

I have been there 4 or 5 times and have had excellent food every time. The service is excellent and the selection is more than good. This is becoming one of my favorite restaurants.
